Amanda has been writing since a very young age, first working on student publications in elementary school. In the early 2000s, Amanda gained local acclaim for her award-winning poetry and ten-minute plays produced at a local theatre. Amanda has continued writing throughout her college career and plans to continue in the future. She is currently working on several plays and short stories, and recently co-authored an artlce for AATE's journal Incite/Insight about her work with the Coalition for the Homeless and a post for TYA/USA's blog, NEXTBlog.
