In the summer of 2011, almost a year after joining The REP team, Amanda had the wonderful experience of teaching summer camps for 3rd-5th graders at The REP. Camps included: "Jokes and Slapstick," based on creating comedic scenes and stand-up routines; "Get Tangled!" a triple threat class based from Disney's movie Tangled; and "Carter Kane and the Red Pyramid" based on the series by Rick Riordan and Ancient Egypt.

The summer was divided between teaching for The REP and serving as the Education Coordinator for their secondary location on the UCF campus. Prior to the summer, I served as a teaching artist for several post-performance workshops and as a teaching artist for the kindergarten-2nd grade performance camp, Stuart Little.
